Orangewood Academy piles up the points against Whitney

In what's become a running theme this season, the Orangewood Academy Spartans gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Whitney 69-32 at home. The victory was nothing new for Orangewood Academy as they're now sitting on three straight.

Orangewood Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Audrey Chow, who scored 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Chow has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jamaica Cheatham, who scored 14 points.

Orangewood Academy pushed their record up to 18-6 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Whitney, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-8.

Orangewood Academy will head out on the road to challenge King/Drew at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Whitney, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Oxford Academy at 5:30 p.m. Oxford Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 731st, while Whitney is ranked 242nd).
