If Panorama wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Sylmar, they should've done a better job of containing Tim Tanner Jr. The Spartans were the clear victors by a 56-31 margin over the Pythons on Thursday with plenty of help from Tanner Jr, who threw for 337 yards and six TDs while completing 90.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 63 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only five carries. Thanks to that big game, he is now up to 31 passing touchdowns on the season.

Elizeo Reyes was another key player, gaining 170 total yards and a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced one fumble and made 12 total tackles.

The win made it two in a row for Sylmar and bumps their season record up to 6-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.0 points over those games. As for Panorama, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

Sylmar and Panorama are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Spartans will host North Hollywood at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. Sylmar will need to watch out since the Huskies have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games. As for Panorama, they will take on Fairfax at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. The Pythons will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
