Softball Recap: Denver Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Denver's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Fork Warhawks on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that the Cyclones have lost by exactly four runs.

Denver's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for West Fork, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Denver didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-2 win against Aplington-Parkersburg on the 30th. As for West Fork, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-1 victory against Osage on the 30th.
