Softball Recap: Plant Panthers vs. Bloomingdale Bulls
Plant had lost three straight on the road, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 11-9 to make it four. They fell just short of the Bloomingdale Bulls by a score of 6-5. Gigi Cozzens was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
