There's no place like home for Davenport, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They never let the Olive Wildcats get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Wednesday. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by eight runs or more this season.

Davenport is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 19 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Olive, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.
