Soccer Recap: Chula Vista Takes a Loss

Chula Vista managed to keep up with Valhalla until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Chula Vista Spartans lost 5-1 to the Valhalla Norsemen. The Spartans just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Nancy Chavez, which was the first she's scored this season.

Chula Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Valhalla, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1-1.

Chula Vista will challenge Foothills Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Valhalla, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Montgomery at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
