Recap: Lathrop Spartans vs. Pacheco Panthers
The Lathrop Spartans won the last time they faced the Pacheco Panthers, and things went their way on Monday too. Lathrop secured a 36-30 W over Pacheco. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lathrop.
Lathrop found their leader in underclassman Shakara Porter, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds. Porter hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 16 straight games. Tatiana Lowery was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six steals.
Lathrop has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Pacheco, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.
Lathrop will head out on the road to face off against Grace Davis at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pacheco, they will be playing at home against Ceres at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Ceres is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
