Soccer Recap: Prairie City-Monroe Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Des Moines Christian, Prairie City-Monroe was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Keota Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Prairie City-Monroe also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

The win got Prairie City-Monroe back to even at 1-1. As for Keota, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Prairie City-Monroe didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Sigourney on the 1st. As for Keota, they will venture away from home to square off against West Branch at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
