Basketball Recap: Wood Wildcats vs. Vintage Crushers
Wood was the 44-32 winner over Vintage when they last played one another back in December of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Wood Wildcats took a 40-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vintage Crushers. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mikyah Dixon, who posted six points in addition to nine boards and five steals. That's the most steals Dixon has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Amiyah Murry, who had ten points in addition to six boards and four steals.
Even though they lost, Wood smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Wood now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Vintage, with the win, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-8.
Wood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 57-34 victory against Weston Ranch on the 20th. As for Vintage, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-36 win against Gateway on the 27th.
