Recap: Leadership vs. KIPP King Lions
After a string of eight wins, Leadership's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They were dealt a 64-25 loss at the hands of KIPP King. Leadership has not had much luck with KIPP King recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Leadership got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Hazel Goundar and
Aishah Raoufi, who each put up eight points.
Leadership's loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for KIPP King, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leadership will face off against Oakland Unity at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for KIPP King, they will head out on the road to face off against AIMS College Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
