Hempfield Area put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 50-22 win over the Plum Mustangs. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 22 points or more this season.

Hempfield Area pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.7 points per game. As for Plum, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Hempfield Area will head out to take on West Mifflin at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Plum and Shaler Area will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
