Recap: Lower Moreland Lions vs. Abington Galloping Ghosts

It was a good run, but the Lower Moreland Lions unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They suffered a rough 55-30 defeat at the hands of Abington. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lower Moreland has scored all season.

Lower Moreland's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dani Brusha, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.

Lower Moreland's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4. As for Abington, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Abington won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against George School at 3:00 p.m. on January 13th.
