Yorktown has gone a perfect 10-0 against Washington-Liberty recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Patriots will be playing at home against the Generals at 6:30 p.m.

On Thursday, Yorktown came up short against Herndon and fell 5-2.

Meanwhile, it may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Washington-Liberty ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They skirted past Langley 6-5. Winning may never get old, but the Generals sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The team relied heavily on Alex Frymoyer, who got on base in four of his six plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Hank Thomson, who went 1-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Washington-Liberty's win bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Yorktown, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-5.

Yorktown skirted past Washington-Liberty 4-2 in their previous meeting back in April. Do the Patriots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Generals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
