Basketball Recap: High Tech CV Takes a Loss

On Friday, the High Tech CV Bruins came up short against the High Tech Mesa Thunder and fell 45-34. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, High Tech CV still got an impressive performance from Ella Navarro, who posted 25 points. That was a full 73.5% of High Tech CV's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.

High Tech CV now has a losing record at 2-3. As for High Tech Mesa, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

High Tech CV wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 54-29 win against Bonsall on the 17th. As for High Tech Mesa, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on School for Entrepreneurship & Technology at 5:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. School for Entrepreneurship & Technology's defense has only allowed 30 points per game this season, so High Tech Mesa's offense will have their work cut out for them.
