Basketball Recap: Davis Sr. Comes Up Short

Davis Sr. lost against Oak Ridge back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Davis Sr. Blue Devils were outmatched by the Oak Ridge Trojans and fell 46-19. The matchup marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, Davis Sr. still got an impressive performance from Izzy Cherry, who posted six points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Sonia Clayton, who scored two points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Davis Sr.'s loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-10. As for Oak Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Davis Sr. will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Granite Bay at 7:30 p.m. As for Oak Ridge, they will head out on the road to challenge Whitney at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Ridge will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
