Basketball Recap: Geffen Academy Comes Up Short

Geffen Academy and Eastside squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Geffen Academy had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 69-36 loss at the hands of the Eastside Lions. The contest marked the Bruins' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Geffen Academy is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-3. As for Eastside, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Geffen Academy nor Eastside have any future games scheduled.
