Soccer Recap: Evergreen Valley Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, Evergreen Valley was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They fell 2-0 to the Pioneer Mustangs. The Cougars were probably out for revenge after losing 3-1 to them when the teams met back in December of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Having lost for the first time this season, Evergreen Valley fell to 2-1. As for Pioneer, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Evergreen Valley will head out to square off against James Lick at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pioneer, they are taking a road trip to challenge Live Oak at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pioneer is facing Live Oak at the right time seeing as Live Oak is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
