Football Recap: Shepherd Hill Regional's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Shepherd Hill Regional was feeling good fresh off their 46-18 takedown of Lincoln last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams took a 35-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marblehead Magicians on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Magicians are ranked 35th).

Having lost for the first time this season, Shepherd Hill Regional fell to 2-1. As for Marblehead, the victory was the fourth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shepherd Hill Regional will take on Doherty Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Marblehead, they will challenge North Andover at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
