Soccer Game Preview: Roosevelt vs. Greeley Central + How To Watch

The Roosevelt Roughriders will venture away from home to square off against the Greeley Central Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Roosevelt's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Roosevelt is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Berthoud on Tuesday. Neither the Roughriders nor the Spartans could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Greeley Central waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Spartans get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Give Greeley Central's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

They hit Berthoud with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Diego Guzman, Elias LeFebre, and Fernando Huizar-Diaz.

With that draw, Roosevelt's record moves to 4-7-1. As for Greeley Central, their win bumped their record up to 10-1-1.

Roosevelt suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Greeley Central when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Roughriders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
