It was a proper cat-fight when Lakeview Charter took on Triumph Charter on Wednesday. Everything went the Lakeview Charter Lions' way against the Triumph Charter Jaguars as the Lakeview Charter Lions made off with a 46-20 victory. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 26 points or more this season.

Liliana Word was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Melina Jiminez, who posted eight points and ten rebounds.

Lakeview Charter smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Lakeview Charter's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.3 points per game. As for Triumph Charter, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeview Charter will square off against Community Charter at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Triumph Charter, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Valley Oaks CES at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Triumph Charter is facing Valley Oaks CES at the right time seeing as Valley Oaks CES is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
