Denmark was not the first on the board on Wednesday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against the North Forsyth Raiders by a score of 9-6. This was a revenge game for Denmark: when they faced off against North Forsyth last Monday, they had to take a 5-3 defeat.

Sebastein Walsh tossed a big game, pitching 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits.

At the plate, Denmark got a big performance out of Jason Williams, who scored a run and stole a base while going 4-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Geno Goralski, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Denmark's win bumped their record up to 15-11. As for North Forsyth, they moved to 15-11 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Denmark will have a chance to go back-to-back against North Forsyth: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
