Softball Game Preview: East Union Eagles vs. West Central Valley Wildcats

The East Union Eagles will face off against the West Central Valley Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. East Union has now lost 12 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since June 10.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times East Union and Central Decatur had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Eagles lost 14-7 to the Cardinals on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered against the Cardinals since June 4, 2019.

Meanwhile, West Central Valley hadn't done well against Woodward-Granger recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 5-2.

East Union's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for West Central Valley, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
