Soccer Recap: Madison County Takes a Loss

Madison County lost against Walnut Grove back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Madison County Red Raiders took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Walnut Grove Warriors. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madison County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Walnut Grove, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison County will face off against Flowery Branch at 7:30 p.m. on March 7th. Flowery Branch will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Madison County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Walnut Grove, they will challenge Eastside at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
