Recap: Shalom Christian Academy Flames vs. Calvary Christian Academy
The Shalom Christian Academy Flames stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 60-32 win over Calvary Christian Academy. Winning may never get old, but Shalom Christian Academy sure is getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
Shalom Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Addison Adams, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Chloe Martin, who scored 11 points along with six steals.
Shalom Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Calvary Christian Academy, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shalom Christian Academy will take on the Knights at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against the Lions at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. GVCS Broadfording presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the in Maryland (the Lions are ranked 120th, while the are ranked 263rd).
