Baseball Recap: Therrell Takes a Loss

Therrell lost against Coosa last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Therrell Panthers fell 9-5 to the Coosa Eagles. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chase Gray was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Therrell's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Coosa, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Therrell will square off against South Atlanta at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. South Atlanta will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Coosa, they will challenge Trion at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
