Solon waltzed into their game on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They came out on top against the Kennedy Cougars by a score of 2-0. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Solon's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Kennedy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Solon and Kennedy will both be playing Pleasant Valley the next time they take the court. The Spartans will head out to face the Spartans at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Cougars will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
