Basketball Recap: Shadow Mountain Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Shadow Mountain was the 52-41 winner over Mingus when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Matadors came up short against the Marauders on Tuesday, falling 83-63.

Mingus had a senior duo take command as Ricky Villalobos posted 22 points along with seven assists and five boards and Stone Durkalec earned 19 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Villalobos has scored all season. Memphis Korolowicz was another key player, putting up seven points and five rebounds.

Shadow Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mingus, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Shadow Mountain didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 75-64 loss against Tempe on the 3rd. As for Mingus, they will face off against Thunderbird at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
