Union Area is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Everything went their way against Bishop Canevin as Union Area made off with a 38-16 win. The Scotties have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Aquinas Academy waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They enjoyed a cozy 64-45 victory over the Eagles.

Aquinas Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points over those games. As for Union Area, their victory bumped their record up to 18-0.

Everything came up roses for Union Area against Aquinas Academy in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 58-24 win. Will Union Area repeat their success, or does Aquinas Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
