If South Sumner [Caldwell/South Haven] wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Conway Springs, they should've done a better job of containing Logan Osner. The Cardinals came out on top against the Outlaws by a score of 48-35 on Thursday with plenty of help from Osner, who rushed for 376 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 10.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 35 yards and one TD. Conway Springs is 3-1 when Osner posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 0-4 otherwise.

Conway Springs' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-5. As for South Sumner [Caldwell/South Haven], they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Conway Springs has already played their next contest, a 14-13 defeat against Inman on the 30th. South Sumner [Caldwell/South Haven] does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
