Holy Names faced Jewish Community in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Monarchs fell just short of Wolves by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Holy Names couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Rachel Hernandez, who's now up to nine this season.

Holy Names' defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3. As for Jewish Community, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.
