Soccer Game Preview: Tri-State Christian vs. Faith Christian

Tri-State Christian hasn't had much luck against Faith Christian recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Huskies will be playing at home against the Falcons at 4:30 p.m.

Tri-State Christian headed into their last matchup having not scored more than one goal for four straight, but Galesburg Christian let them put that streak behind them. The Huskies were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Lions on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Tri-State Christian as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.

They hit Galesburg Christian with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Aaron Leverentz, Jacob Major, Cruz Udelhofen, and Owen Reibling.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Faith Christian was forced to settle for a draw. They and Byron finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Friday.

Faith Christian's draw gives them a new season record of 8-3-1. As for Tri-State Christian, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-7.
