Baseball Game Preview: Calvary Day Cavaliers vs. Lovett Lions

In other batting news, Calvary Day got a massive performance out of Sam Renshaw, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance gave Renshaw a new career-high in runs. Brody Dawson was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Lovett entered their tilt with North Atlanta on Friday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They had just enough and edged out the Warriors 3-1. That's two games straight that the Lions have won by exactly two runs.

Lovett pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Calvary Day, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.
