Emanuel County Institute lost to Jenkins County back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Bulldogs won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the War Eagles 35-34. The Bulldogs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Chase Johnson had a dynamite game, rushing for 129 yards and a pair of TDs on only seven carries, while also picking up 55 receiving yards. Tyler Foreman was in the mix as well, providing Emanuel County Institute with two scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Emanuel County Institute was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 228 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Justin Wright and Calvin Adams certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Wright rushed for 78 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, while Adams rushed for 70 yards and a pair of TDs.

The victory got Emanuel County Institute back to even at 2-2. As for Jenkins County, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.
