Soccer Recap: Yosemite Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Yosemite won the last time they faced Caruthers and things went their way on Friday too. The Yosemite Badgers put the hurt on the Caruthers Blue Raiders with a sharp 6-1 victory. The Badgers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit Caruthers with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Farrah Franklin (4), Delaney Franklin, and Clarisse Beaumont.

The win was the fourth in a row for Yosemite, bringing their record for this year to 7-8-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 35 goals over those four contests. As for Caruthers, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Yosemite will head out to take on Liberty at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Yosemite knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Liberty likes a good challenge. As for Caruthers, they will head out on the road to face off against Fowler at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Fowler will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Caruthers surely won't give up without a fight.
