Softball Recap: Salem Takes a Loss

Salem was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 21-20 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lithonia Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Seminoles of the 18-7 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Salem's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lithonia, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salem will challenge Miller Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Seminoles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Lithonia, they will head out on the road to square off against Tucker at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
