Softball Recap: Armwood Comes Up Short

After flying high against Brandon last Saturday, Armwood came back down to earth. The Hawks came up short against the Bloomingdale Bulls on Monday, falling 19-2. The loss continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Bulls: they've now lost seven in a row.

Armwood's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Bloomingdale, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Armwood will head out to take on Blake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bloomingdale, they will venture away from home to face off against Newsome at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something the Bulls surely won't give up without a fight.
