Softball Preview: Saxony Lutheran Crusaders vs. Perryville Pirates
The Saxony Lutheran Crusaders will venture away from home to take on the Perryville Pirates at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Saxony Lutheran is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.
Saxony Lutheran came out on top against East Carter on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fifth inning. The Crusaders' pitcher stepped up to hand the Redbirds a 10-0 shutout. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Crusaders as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
