Football Recap: Mora Comes Up Short

Mora fell victim to Pine City and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 20-0 to the Dragons. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Mora is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. As for Pine City, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Mora will face off against Hibbing at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pine City, they will challenge Esko at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eskomos' defense has only allowed 13 points per game this season, so the Dragons' offense will have their work cut out for them.
