 In what's become a running theme this season, Westlake Charter gave their fans yet another huge  win on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Leroy Greene Academy Lions  a   5-0 shutout. Give Westlake Charter's defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.
 They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of 
 Phoebe Ossola and 
 Colleen Johnson, who scored all five of Westlake Charter's goals.  The pair have combined for a total of 28 so far this season.

Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  scored 53  goals over those nine  matchups.  Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westlake Charter will  take on John Adams Academy at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked  in California (Westlake Charter is ranked second, while John Adams Academy is ranked third). As for Leroy Greene Academy, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Foresthill at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday.
