Linden came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 4-0 to the Calaveras Red Hawks. Linden have struggled against Calaveras recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Linden's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Calaveras, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4-1 record this season.

Linden didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Riverbank on the 20th. As for Calaveras, they have also already played their next match, a 7-0 win against Big Valley Christian on the 20th.
