Volleyball Recap: Garrett's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Garrett entered their tilt with Central Noble on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Railroaders also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

While Garrett won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22, 25-18.

Sarah Depew paced Garrett's offense, picking up 14 kills. Depew got some help from Rilyn Flotow and her 29 assists. Flotow was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Garrett's win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Central Noble, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season.

Garrett has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Westview on the 11th. As for Central Noble, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Churubusco on the 11th.
