Creekside Christian Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Pinecrest Academy Paladins on Wednesday. The win was familiar territory for the Cougars, who have now won 18 games in a row.

Daylen Williams was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Brady Mccadden, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.

Creekside Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .526. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pinecrest Academy only posted an OBP of .333.

Creekside Christian Academy's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Pinecrest Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-4.
