Union Grove put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Woodland Wolfpack by a score of 2-0. Give the Wolverines' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Yenfer Vivas and Devin Wyche scored both of Union Grove's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Union Grove pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Woodland, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union Grove will take on Jones County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Union Grove will be up against Jones County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.86 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Woodland, they will challenge Hampton at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hampton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.8 goals per game this season.
