Softball Recap: East Marshall Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

East Marshall has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging three runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They lost 10-1 to the Grundy Center Spartans. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Mustangs couldn't push the score so high this time.

East Marshall's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5. As for Grundy Center, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: East Marshall beat Grundy Center by a score of 2-0 later that day.
