Baseball Recap: Winder-Barrow's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak at Home

Jefferson hit Winder-Barrow with a four-run third inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bulldoggs fell 6-2 to the Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-3 back in February.

Winder-Barrow's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-8. As for Jefferson, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-13 record this season.

Winder-Barrow does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jefferson, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-1 victory against West Hall on the 18th.
