Soccer Recap: Valley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Belen on Thursday, Valley came back down to earth. The Vikings came up short against the Albuquerque Academy Chargers on Saturday, falling 4-0. The game was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Valley it sure didn't stay that way.

Valley has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Albuquerque Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-5-3.

Valley and Albuquerque Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Vikings see the pitch they'll take on Hope Christian at 6:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for Albuquerque Academy, their break will end when they face Del Norte at 3:30 p.m. on the 30th.
