Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Jasmine White and Avery Smiley Lead Windsor to Victory

With a playoff win on the line, Windsor rose to the challenge on Saturday. They blew past the Mountain View Mountain Lions 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Wizards, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-20, 25-11.

Leading Windsor to victory were Avery Smiley and Jasmine White. Smiley had 16 digs and three aces, while White had 23 assists and nine digs. White has been hot, having posted 15 or more assists the last six times she's played.

Windsor has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. As for Mountain View, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-15.

Coincidentally, Windsor and Mountain View will both be playing Pueblo East the next time they take the court. The Mountain Lions will head out to face the Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Wizards will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
