Basketball Game Preview: Corinth Holders Pirates vs. C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons + How To Watch

The Corinth Holders Pirates just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

As a matter of fact, Corinth Holders put up the most points they have all season on Tuesday. Everything went their way against West Johnston as they made off with a 67-46 victory. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Lauren Sizemore had another great game (as she tends to do), going 7-for-10 en route to 20 points and five rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 46.7% three-point shooting accuracy. Chloe Kozloff was another key player, shooting 71% from the field to rack up 13 points.

Corinth Holders smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 14 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, C.B. Aycock won against J.H. Rose last Tuesday with 58 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Golden Falcons really took it to Eastern Wayne for the full four quarters, racking up a 58-23 victory. The Golden Falcons pushed the score to 52-16 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors cut but never quite recovered from.

C.B. Aycock's win came from a few key players Corinth Holders will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Alonna Frederick, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Kanysia Smith, who earned 12 points.

C.B. Aycock now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Corinth Holders, their record is now 4-0.

Corinth Holders couldn't quite get it done against C.B. Aycock in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 as they fell 44-36. Can the Pirates avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
