Soccer Recap: King City Comes Up Short

King City's game on Wednesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They lost 4-0 to the Gonzales Spartans. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Mustangs haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

King City's loss dropped their record down to 3-6-3. As for Gonzales, their win bumped their record up to 7-8-2.

King City is taking a road trip to challenge Stevenson at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Stevenson will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something King City surely won't give up without a fight. As for Gonzales, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Palma at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Gonzales is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season.
