Recap: Foothill Cougars vs. River City Raiders
On Thursday, Foothill was fully in charge, breezing past River City 66-14 on the road. With Foothill ahead 41-12 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Lexi Peters was her usual excellent self, scoring 16 points. The match was her fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Sedlak, who scored 8 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Foothill and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for River City, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Foothill is on the road again on Friday and play against El Camino at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. El Camino will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 407th, while Foothill is ranked 69th). As for River City, they will square off against Center at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
